By transforming agricultural and food industry by-products into high-value materials, the project offers a dual environmental and economic benefit. VALZEO\u2019s core objectives include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Developing <strong>zeolite-based composite materials<\/strong> derived from agro-industrial waste;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applying these materials in <strong>environmental remediation<\/strong>, such as wastewater treatment and pollutant removal;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Investigating the use of recovered materials in <strong>biofuel production<\/strong>, supporting the transition to low-carbon energy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrating scalable circular economy models that link agriculture, industry, and clean technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>VALZEO supports the EU\u2019s <strong>Circular Economy Action Plan<\/strong>, <strong>Zero Pollution ambition<\/strong>, and <strong>Green Deal objectives<\/strong>, while creating innovative pathways for regional Smart Specialisation in the fields of bio-based materials, clean energy, and environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project\u2019s presence at CEDIS3 underlines its potential for <strong>cross-border collaboration<\/strong>, knowledge exchange, and co-development of regional initiatives between T\u00fcrkiye, the EU, and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About VALZEO<\/strong><br>VALZEO is a Horizon Europe-funded project dedicated to converting agro-industrial waste into advanced zeolite-based materials for environmental remediation and renewable energy applications.
