VALZEO Showcased at CEDIS3 Event in T\u00fcrkiye: Driving Circular Economy Through Zeolite Innovation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ankara, May 29, 2025<\/strong> \u2014 The VALZEO project<\/strong>, a Horizon Europe initiative focused on the valorisation of agro-industrial waste through zeolite-based composite materials<\/strong>, was featured during the CEDIS3 International Partnerships Workshop & Matchmaking Event<\/strong> in Ankara, T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held on May 29\u201330 and hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology of T\u00fcrkiye<\/strong><\/a>, the event brought together key innovation actors and development agencies to strengthen international collaboration under the Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3)<\/strong> framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VALZEO was represented by <\/strong>Sustainable Innovation Technology Services (SITES<\/strong><\/a>)<\/strong>, which leads the project’s Communication and Dissemination Work Package<\/strong>. During the event\u2019s expert panel and poster sessions, SITES presented VALZEO\u2019s mission:
\u2714\ufe0f To transform agro-industrial residues into high-value zeolite-based materials<\/strong>
<\/strong> \u2714\ufe0f To enable applications in environmental remediation<\/strong> (e.g., water and soil treatment)
\u2714\ufe0f To contribute to sustainable biofuel production pathways<\/strong>
<\/strong> \u2714\ufe0f To reinforce circular economy innovation<\/strong> across Europe<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VALZEO offers a practical and scalable approach to regional sustainability by connecting agricultural waste management with environmental and energy solutions. The project\u2019s alignment with S3 goals was well received by participants from Turkish development agencies, European innovation hubs, and funding institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation in CEDIS3 opens up new avenues for transnational cooperation and validates VALZEO\u2019s relevance in green transition strategies and industrial symbiosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
