Hanwen Luan, PhD student at Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona (UAB), presented part of his doctoral research at the 6th European Conference on Metal Organic Frameworks and Porous Polymers (EuroMOF2025<\/a>). His poster, entitled \u201cSynergistic Adsorption and Photocatalytic Degradation of Methylene Blue by Mn-Doped-ZIF-67@Zeolite-X Hybrid Materials\u201d<\/em>, highlighted results developed within the framework of the VALZEO project (Horizon Europe, MSCA Staff Exchanges, GA 101086354).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The research explores the synthesis of MOF\u2013Zeolite composites designed to combine adsorption and photocatalytic activity for advanced water treatment. By demonstrating the ability of these hybrid materials to effectively degrade pollutants such as Methylene Blue, this work marks an important step towards developing novel composite materials for water remediation applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This contribution exemplifies VALZEO\u2019s commitment to fostering young researchers, promoting scientific exchange, and driving innovation in sustainable materials for circular economy applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
