Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026

Advancing Collaboration for a Sustainable Bioeconomy

The VALZEO consortium is pleased to highlight the upcoming Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026 (GBS2026), one of the world’s leading events dedicated to advancing the global bioeconomy. The Summit will take place in Dublin, Ireland, on 20–21 October 2026, bringing together policymakers, researchers, innovators, industry representatives, and key stakeholders to discuss the future of sustainable bio-based development.

This year’s Summit will feature a dynamic programme of high-level policy discussions, interactive workshops, and an EU exhibition showcasing innovative bioeconomy initiatives, collaborative research projects, and emerging solutions that support Europe’s transition towards a more sustainable and circular economy.

The exchanges and outcomes of GBS2026 will also contribute to supporting the European Commission in advancing the implementation of the European Bioeconomy Strategy, strengthening dialogue between science, policy, industry, and society.

At VALZEO, we are committed to promoting initiatives that encourage knowledge exchange, international collaboration, and innovation across the bioeconomy sector. Events such as the Global Bioeconomy Summit provide valuable opportunities to connect research with policy, foster new partnerships, and accelerate the development of sustainable solutions that contribute to resource efficiency, circularity, and environmental resilience.

As a Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Staff Exchanges (MSCA) project, VALZEO recognizes the importance of engaging with the wider European and international bioeconomy community. Sharing strategic events like GBS2026 supports our mission to strengthen cooperation among researchers, innovators, industry, and stakeholders working towards a greener and more sustainable future.
