Varese, Italy – May 4, 2025 – VALZEO is proud to announce its participation in the 6th edition of the Giornata Nazionale della Bioeconomia (National Bioeconomy Day), taking place on May 22, 2025, at the University of Insubria in Varese. The event, dedicated to exploring sustainable and market-oriented innovations in the bioeconomy, will feature a key presentation by Leonardo Piccinetti from SITES, a core contributor to the VALZEO project.
At 11:10 AM, Piccinetti will present “Competenze per la bioeconomia per un futuro sostenibile: le lezioni dal progetto VALZEO”, highlighting the skills and knowledge needed to drive the bioeconomy forward, and sharing valuable insights and outcomes from the VALZEO initiative.
The event, titled “Bioeconomia: Innovazione che crea Valore” (“Bioeconomy: Innovation that Creates Value”), brings together academic, industrial, and public sector leaders to discuss the transition from science to sustainable market solutions. With a focus on education, applied research, and industrial best practices, the conference serves as a critical platform to promote circular bioeconomy approaches in Italy and across Europe.
