The VALZEO Project is proud to announce its participation in ECOMONDO 2025, the benchmark European event for ecological transition, taking place from 4 to 7 November 2025 in Rimini, Italy. As one of the most important international showcases for circular economy and green technologies, ECOMONDO offers the perfect stage to present VALZEO’s vision and progress.
VALZEO—Valorisation of agro-industrial wastes via the production of zeolite-based composite materials and their use in environmental remediation and biofuel production—is tackling one of today’s critical sustainability challenges: how to transform agricultural and industrial by-products into high-value, eco-friendly solutions. The project focuses on developing innovative composite materials based on zeolites, which are being explored for use in environmental clean-up processes and the development of greener fuels.
By turning waste into resources, VALZEO contributes directly to the EU’s goals for a circular, low-carbon economy. Through a strong collaboration between academic institutions, research centers, and industrial partners across Europe, the project is delivering real-world innovations that promote resource efficiency and environmental protection.
