The Bioeconomy & Bioenergy Research Symposium, held on 17 November 2025 in Dublin, brought together researchers, innovators, and sustainability experts working across renewable energy and circular bio-based materials.
The VALZEO project was represented by SITES through the participation of Marsela Lesaj
, who engaged in scientific discussions and explored current developments in Ireland’s bioeconomy landscape.
Marsela shared her reflections on the event:
“Attending the Bioeconomy & Bioenergy Research Symposium as a SITES member was an inspiring experience. It provided me with a valuable opportunity to connect with leading researchers, explore the innovative advancements shaping Ireland’s renewable energy and materials sector, and see firsthand how collaboration across disciplines and generations is driving sustainable solutions and the growth of the national bioeconomy.”
VALZEO’s participation in the symposium supports ongoing efforts to remain informed about emerging research areas relevant to Europe’s move toward more sustainable and circular resource management.
