UPO Researchers Achieve Major Breakthrough in Wastewater Pollutant Removal

A new video titled “Investigadores andaluces consiguen reducir los contaminantes presentes en aguas residuales” highlights a remarkable scientific achievement by researchers from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO)—a core partner of the VALZEO project.

This achievement demonstrates the successful application of advanced catalytic materials to significantly reduce emerging contaminants in wastewater, contributing directly to VALZEO’s mission of developing sustainable, circular, and high-performance solutions for environmental remediation.

The UPO research team, including experts such as Dr. Menta Ballesteros Martín and Dr. A. Rabdel Ruiz-Salvador, has played a leading role in:
