On 30th July 2025, as part of the VALZEO Horizon Europe project, Assoc. Prof. Roberto Boada from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) completed a secondment at SITES Ltd in Dublin, Ireland.
Hosted at the SITES headquarters, this secondment aimed to deepen scientific collaboration, facilitate knowledge transfer, and support the ongoing development of VALZEO’s core themes, particularly social innovation, stakeholder engagement, and circular bioeconomy strategies.
The day featured a series of high-level exchanges with the SITES team, including discussions on Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA), inclusive innovation practices, and circular value chain integration. Dr. Boada’s presence reinforced the importance of academic-industry collaboration within the framework of the project.
