AERIS Tecnologías Ambientales is a Spanish SME based in the Barcelona area and VALZEO’s industrial partner. Alongside universities and research centres in five countries, AERIS brings the view of a company that has to make new technologies work in practice.
This matters for a project like VALZEO. Laboratory results only create value when they can be tested, scaled up and used by industry. AERIS helps the consortium keep that goal in sight.
At Ecomondo 2026, Raquel Montes, PhD and Project Manager at AERIS, presents “Making water treatment innovation work: an industrial perspective” (16:30), in the session on advanced monitoring and scientific innovation.
Her talk links the research presented by UNIVPM and UAB with the needs of the water utilities and technology companies in the room.
