Sustainable Innovation Technology Services (SITES) is the Irish partner in VALZEO. It leads the project’s communication, dissemination and exploitation work.
Since 2023, SITES has helped the consortium share its work beyond the laboratory. That work includes:
- the VALZEO website and LinkedIn channel;
- seven newsletters, with the eighth due at the end of the project;
- press releases;
- events such as workshops and Science Cafés.
SITES has also represented VALZEO at international events, including the Global Bioeconomy Summit 2026 in Dublin. Three VALZEO policy briefs are now being prepared.
At Ecomondo 2026, Leonardo Piccinetti, project manager at SITES and EU programme consultant, leads Session 4: “Co-creation space: open discussion, networking and matchmaking”. His talk, “From VALZEO results to 2027 funding opportunities” (16:50), looks at how VALZEO’s results and partnerships can lead to new research and innovation projects in water treatment. An open discussion with participants follows at 17:00.
For SITES, the workshop is where communication turns into collaboration: researchers, water utilities and companies meet, and new projects can begin.
Join us: Tuesday 3 November 2026, 14:00–17:30, Sala Orchidea, first floor, Hall D6, Rimini Expo Centre.
